True Reflections Mental Health Services is a private-pay, out-of-network practice in Middlesex, NJ. Out-of-network care is an investment, and it is one that many families are able to partially offset through their insurance plan's out-of-network benefits. A Superbill is provided after every appointment so you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Everything you need to know about fees, payment, and insurance is below.
What Out-of-Network Care Means for You
Choosing an out-of-network provider means your care is shaped by what you and your family actually need, not by what an insurance company has predetermined to approve.
At True Reflections Mental Health Services, there are no arbitrary session limits, no preauthorization requirements, and no third party deciding whether you or your child qualify for another appointment. Evaluations are thorough because they need to be, not abbreviated to fit a billing structure. Therapy continues as long as it is clinically meaningful, at a pace that works for your family.
It also means every appointment is with Janine, the same clinician who knows your history, your goals, and your child. You will never be handed off or wait-listed mid-process.

Therapy Fees
Initial Intake Appointment: $285
For children and adolescents, two intake appointments are required. The first is a parent-only session and the second is with the child/teen. Each is billed at $285.
Therapy Sessions (ongoing): $260 per session
A Superbill is provided after every appointment for potential out-of-network insurance reimbursement.
Evaluation Fees
Comprehensive ADHD & Autism Evaluation with IQ Testing: Includes a 20 to 30 page comprehensive report with recommendations and accommodations for home and school. Fee: $3,900 | $500 deposit required to schedule.
Comprehensive ADHD & Autism Evaluation with IQ Testing (Memorandum Only): Includes a memorandum of evaluation on True Reflections MHS letterhead. No full report. Fee: $2,900 | $500 deposit required to schedule.
ADHD or Autism Evaluation: Includes a 15 to 20 page comprehensive report with recommendations and accommodations for home and school. Fee: $2,900 | $500 deposit required to schedule. Additional $350 for IQ testing.
ADHD or Autism Evaluation (Memorandum Only): Includes a memorandum of evaluation on True Reflections MHS letterhead. No full report. Fee: $1,900 | $500 deposit required to schedule. Additional $350 for IQ testing.
NeuroVocational Assessment: $3600 | $500 deposit required to schedule
Immigration Mental Health Evaluation: $2200. Additional fee of $300 per additional child being interview. | $500 deposit required to schedule
Payment Plans Are Available for Evaluations
You do not have to pay the full amount upfront. A $500 deposit secures your appointments, with the remaining balance divided across the evaluation process so the financial commitment is spread over several weeks rather than due all at once.
$500 deposit upon onboarding — secures your intake and testing appointments and begins the scheduling process
Half of the remaining balance due at the intake appointment
The final half of the remaining balance due the morning of the first testing day
*Example: For a $2,900 evaluation, payments would be $500 at scheduling, $1,200 at intake, and $1,200 the morning of the first testing day.
True Reflections Mental Health Services does not bill insurance directly. A Superbill is provided after the feedback session for potential out-of-network insurance reimbursement.

Out-of-Network Benefits and Superbills
True Reflections Mental Health Services does not bill insurance directly. However, many clients with PPO plans or out-of-network benefits are able to receive partial reimbursement by submitting a Superbill to their insurance company after each appointment.
A Superbill is an itemized receipt with everything your insurance company needs to process your claim. True Reflections MHS emails it to you promptly after each appointment so you can submit as quickly as possible.
