Straightforward Fees for Neurodiversity Affirming Evaluations and Therapy

True Reflections Mental Health Services is a private-pay, out-of-network practice in Middlesex, NJ. Out-of-network care is an investment, and it is one that many families are able to partially offset through their insurance plan's out-of-network benefits. A Superbill is provided after every appointment so you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Everything you need to know about fees, payment, and insurance is below.

What Out-of-Network Care Means for You

Choosing an out-of-network provider means your care is shaped by what you and your family actually need, not by what an insurance company has predetermined to approve.

At True Reflections Mental Health Services, there are no arbitrary session limits, no preauthorization requirements, and no third party deciding whether you or your child qualify for another appointment. Evaluations are thorough because they need to be, not abbreviated to fit a billing structure. Therapy continues as long as it is clinically meaningful, at a pace that works for your family.

It also means every appointment is with Janine, the same clinician who knows your history, your goals, and your child. You will never be handed off or wait-listed mid-process.

If you have questions about cost or want to talk through your options before scheduling, please reach out. Janine is happy to have that conversation.

Accepted Payment Methods

True Reflections Mental Health Services accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Credit card

  • Debit card

  • Health Savings Account (HSA)

  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

  • Cash

Please note: checks are not accepted.

Full payment is due at the time of service for therapy sessions. For evaluations, a payment plan is available that spreads the cost across the evaluation process.

Therapy Fees

  • Initial Intake Appointment: $285

  • For children and adolescents, two intake appointments are required. The first is a parent-only session and the second is with the child/teen. Each is billed at $285.

  • Therapy Sessions (ongoing): $260 per session

A Superbill is provided after every appointment for potential out-of-network insurance reimbursement.

Evaluation Fees

Complete fee information for ADHD and Autism evaluations, including package options, payment plan details, and deposit requirements, is available on each evaluation service page.

Payment plans are available for all evaluations. A $500 deposit secures your appointments, with the remaining balance spread across the evaluation process.

Out-of-Network Benefits and Superbills

True Reflections Mental Health Services does not bill insurance directly. However, many clients with PPO plans or out-of-network benefits are able to receive partial reimbursement by submitting a Superbill to their insurance company after each appointment.

A Superbill is an itemized receipt with everything your insurance company needs to process your claim. True Reflections MHS emails it to you promptly after each appointment so you can submit as quickly as possible.
